Sample Business Apology Letter

The following sample business apology letter is used  by airline companies and sent before they receive any complaint from customers.

Dear Mr. Albert,

I am writing in reference to Z-Airlines flight ZA111 of October 10th 2013, on which you were scheduled to travel from Point X to Point Y.

As you know, due to a mechanical problem with the aircraft scheduled to operate flight ZA111, the flight was cancelled. We understand that these irregularities can be so disturbing to our customers, but our top priority must always be to provide you with safe travel.

Please accept our most honest apologies for any disruption which our cancellation may have caused your schedule. We wish that the arrangements we made in providing you a seat on the next available flight were favorable.
