The following business apology letter is sent by a mail order company to an angry customer who is unhappy about the delay in the delivery of his laptop

Dear Mr. Jacob

Thank you for your email and for alerting us to the problem with the delivery of your Laptop. I have spoken to the manager of our delivery department who has tracked your order and he has identified a problem with your local sorting office. As this seems to be ongoing and to save further delay, he has today re-ordered the item to be sent to you via special courier (48-hour delivery, to be signed for).

We regret the inconvenience this has caused and trust that the matter will be speedily resolved. If there are any further issues with this delivery, please contact us immediately.
